name held hostage?
It happens all too often
and it is a major aggravation to regain possession
from a ruthless domain name host. Don't let
your self be drawn in by cheap domain name
registration, the price is far greater then you can
afford.
When we get a message to
release a domain it
is done within 72 hours of email
confirmation.
Some
Domain Name Registration companies just won't let go of domain
names. They hold their clients hostage for
hosting fees they are
receiving, or hope to receive. We have to fight large companies
every day to release domains at the clients request. Sometimes
they are held up for months, sometimes the domain name registrar
will go so far as to cancel the domain name, releasing it to
anyone that wants to buy. The negative side to this is that
there is a 45 day grace before anyone can buy the domain name
and then if we don't get it first, it is lost for good.
This fee is for the first year of registration. Each year
thereafter is at $25.00 per year, per domain. Discounts for
multiple domains or years

Transfer
In the event the domain name has been registered with
another company, there will be a fee of $25 to transfer, but
it will automatically renew for one year. Renewal fee is
included in the transfer. If the problems are excessive, we
reserve the right to charge $5.00 for each time we are
required to
email further requests to domain name server to correct and
resolve problems related to the transfer.
Should phone calls to the host be required there will be a
fee of $25/hr. These will be documented..
If the time lapses out and the transfer is not complete you
will be charged, as above, each time that we
have to initiate the transfer. (i.e. if your email has
changed since the registration of the domain– it will take
additional handling to correct.)
